Mini stockhustäcke/ mini logcabin

  
Färdig med det röda babytäcket. Valde till slut en kant i liknande färg som den till bården, men som har mer rosa och lite turkost också. Tyckte att det verkade fungera ganska bra.



I have finished the red babyquilt. I eventually went for a binding that matched the border but added a little more interest. In the foto the border appears to be very dark compared to the middle, that´s mostly because I lack the skills nessesary in fotografy, sorry.
Anyway, I´m happy with the results!






Var nyligen på semester till Gran Canaria. Under ett besök till Las Palmas huvudorten på ön lyckades jag leta upp en garn och lappteknikaffär. På den ena väggen hängde detta otroliga Lapptäcke som jag fick lov att fotografera. Blev otroligt förtjust i de smala remsorna och bestämde mig för att göra något liknande fast i mycket mindre storlek och färre rader. jag har sett en del bilder där en del dekorerar med minilapptäcken på väggen och blev förälskad i det. så nu har jag bestämt mig för att göra ett eget minilapptäcke i blockhus rutor.

Recently I went on holliday to the spanish Island Gran Canaria outside the coast of Africa. In the main City of the Island, Las Palmas i managed to find a little shop with yarns and quilting fabric. There I was allowed to take this picture of this wonderful quilt. It was made out of amazingly narrow strips, and I fell completely in love with it.
So back from the holliday I desided to try to make my own, but with smaller blocks and fewer. I´ve seen so many beautiful mini quilt hanging on the walls in some bloggs, so that was my goal.

Gjorde först ett prov där jag testade lite, gjorde om så att jag kunde kedjesy och har nu sytt ihop små block som kommer vara ca 4cm färdiga.                                              I first made a sample were I tested out the size and how to make it. The finished size of the block is about     1 1/2 inch. I started chainsewing these together and it was done in suprisingly little time. And I have used up more of my scraps!

Tror att jag är nöjd med antalet nu, nu ska jag bara fundera på design. Fungerar detta? 


I think I have enough now but I can´t deside wich design to go with, does this work?
