Mini ironingboard/ Liten strykplatta

Tröttnade på att behöva förflytta mig två rum bara för att stryka en söm så jag fixade en mini strykbräda.
Först letade jag igenom garaget och förrådet för att se vad jag hade för material som skulle kunna fungera till uppgiften. Hittade bland skräpbitar som skulle till tippen en trasig sidoplatta till ett köksskåp. Sågade till i lagom storlek. Letade fram spillbitar i ulltyg och klippte till två bitar som gick ca 5-8 cm utanför plattan så att jag kunde häfta fast det på baksidan med häftpistol. Till sist ett tyg (inte för ljust) som häftades fast ytterst.
Har hunnit använda den flera gånger redan och är nöjd!

I got tired of relocate 2 rooms away every time I wanted to iron someting (we are redecorating at the moment) so I desided to make a small ironingboard that would fit the cramped space where I currently have my sewingmachine. I manage to find a piece from a broken kitchen canbinet that I could use. Found (a quite uggly) piece of wool fabric in my stash that was just large enough to yeald 2 pieces as a bottom layer that I stapled in place with a staplegun. Then I covered it all with a cotton fabric on top. I have tried it out and I love it!



Hittade lite fina tyger och kunde inte låte bli att sy lite fler tygbindor...

Found some fabric that I couldn`t resist to use for sewing a few more cloth pads...

Men jag tror att jag har så det räcker nu.

But I think I have enough now.
