Usually when I make these kind of bags I attach the handles with a sewn square with a cross diagonal from corner to corner. This time I tried different ways to attach the handles and found one I really like.
When some of the other members of my family saw them they wanted one to but in a fabric of their choosing. This is some of them. When doing this I made a videotutorial in swedish on how to make these. I am considering to make my tutorials in english on a different youtube channel but hesitate because of my english speaking skills....
Right now I´m going to go over my fabric stash and sew up a couple of these for a craftfair I´m attending later this summer.

Update on the bag:
Although I actually like the shoulderstraps I´ve made I don`t feel they match with the embroidery. So after just ignoring it for a while I found a new weavingpattern I liked. And after many curse words and a few shifts of colour I`m now halfway done with the new straps, and this time it feels right. And if I look at it from a distance I can´t se the misstakes as clearly. :)

The pattern is a sort of copy from a tablet weaving found in Birka. A vikingage trading center in Sweden (8th-10th century) I found the pattern here:
